One of our nieces, four-year-old Alice, came to visit over the Thanksgiving holiday. She entertained herself with our digital camera while the adults chatted.
"Excuse me," I heard her softly say, "May I take a picture of your face, please?"
Dudley was happy to oblige.

That is just way too cute.
Full props to the polite niece. Mine is polite too, but so many people's nieces talk loudly on cell phone in my therapist's waiting room. Not that I'm talking about a specific incident. Nope. Not me.

I agree, the polite requests were simply adorable. I still prefer the out-of-focus super close-up of Dud's eye, though. ;)
