Green beer is a crime against nature.
That's only my humble opinion, of course.
My sister, way way back in the day, once turned the milk we always had with dinner green. Actually, she turned mine green and hers blue. Completely spoiled my appetite and I could not drink it. I can't remember if she drank hers or not.
I stick to plain beer of a natural color and leave the green stuff to the Irish and faux-Irish.
Works for me.

Heh. Want me to do a drive-by to her house with some green milk today? Does she still drink milk? Somehow green soymilk does not sound as much fun. Hey, I have some soymilk in the fridge from before I went to Denver, bet that's pretty green by now!

Yes, Dara. Please do a drive-by. But leave milk, soy or otherwise, especially the stuff moldering in your refrigerator, out of it.
Just drive-by and give my sister a big squeeze for me, okay? :)
I'll be forever in your debt.
I tried very hard to leave this comment yesterday on your site and couldn't, so I posted about it instead in my blog, but for the record, no self-respecting Irish person or Irish pub would drink or serve green beer any day of the year, little less on the High Holiday. You are 100% correct in your estimation that green beer is a crime against nature. Happy (one day past) Saint Paddy's!
