Ahh...so true, so true. Did you send this to CBS? I think they'd publish it -- or they should!! Did you create it? I'd like to post it on my website if I have your permission. I'll post it as your work. Would you like any specific credit?

Oops. I see it came from another website. Sorry about that...

Should I dare comment? As the token Republican reader of your blog? Maybe not!

Mel, you're not the only republican who reads my site (and you are certainly not a token)! The others are a bit shy about leaving comments, although I wish they would. I wish you would! I am curious how you view and/or interpret such a comparison as this.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained? :)

Well, okay. First of all, it's partisan with obvious skewing of facts. Secondly, it inaccurately simplifies the decision-making process the President goes through (including advisors, etc.). Thirdly, the intent of the President and the intent of Rather matters. How many lives were ultimately saved by deposing Saddam Hussein? I personally can't wait until the election comes, no matter how it ends up.

Wow Mel, you really are a republican. :)

First of all, the facts are simplified, but I don't feel they are skewed. Secondly, remember the saying "The Buck Stops Here"? I do. Thirdly, it's the president's intent that frightens me the most. Part of me is looking forward to the election being over. Part of me is scared shitless. All of me hates how this campaign is being run on both sides.

And despite it all, you and I still have commonalities. Just not where politics are concerned. :)

Well, I guess we'll just cancel out each other's votes and hope for the best. :)
